Rules Drop Off Areas

MORNING
We strongly encourage the walking students to use the main school yard access located on Beaconsfield Boulevard.  The students walking on Lakeshore drive should access the school yard by using the “Aquarium” on Neveu Street.


Drop-off  area on Beaconsfield Blvd:
  • The parents arriving from the West side of school must use the drop-off area located on Beaconsfield Boulevard only.
  • The parents arriving from the East side of the school must turn left on Neveu Street since it is forbidden to turn left on Beaconsfield Boulevard in front of the school.
  • The cars must move forward as much as possible and stay as close to the edge of the sidewalk as possible to make the traffic run smoothly.
  • The parents must stay in their car at all times.  Your child has to be able to get out of the car by himself.
  • If your child needs attendance to step out of the car, we suggest you use Breton Woods Street to park.  You can then take all the time you need to help your child and walk with him to the school yard.

Drop-off  area on Neveu Street:
  • The parents arriving from the East side of the school must use the Neveu Street drop-off area.
  • The cars must move forward as much as possible to make room for as many cars as possible.
  • Once your child is out of the car and you are ready to leave, you must only turn right.  Left turns are forbidden.
  • In the morning, parents are forbidden to park their cars on Neveu Street.  The parking area is reserved for the school staff only.  Also, if you use these particular parking spaces, when you are ready to leave and have to back-up your car, you may create traffic jams and most important may risk injuring students who are walking or biking to school.
  • The parents must stay in their car at all times.  Should your child need attendance to get out of the car, you may park your car on Woodridge Street or use the few parking spaces available at the South of the drop-off area.

LUNCH TIME
  • We kindly ask you to use the Neveu Street drop-off area only.

AFTERNOON
  • You must pick-up your child at the same drop-off area you left him at in the morning.  The drop-off areas are not meant to be used as parking areas.  Therefore, a fluid traffic circulation will make things run smoothly for everyone.
